Lesson Objective
My lesson objective for today is to edit the footage I shot last week in order to fulfill assessment objective 3

Introduction to Unit G324: Advanced Portfolio - Video Task Shot List
This work relates to Assessment Objective 3.
1.
1. Establishing shot of a corridor.
2. Medium shot of person A.
3. Insert shot of wallet/purse dropping to floor.
4. Eyeline match sequence of person B seeing wallet.
5. Camera pans across while person B approaches wallet.
6. Extreme close up of wallet being picked up by hand.
7. Over-the-shoulder shot of person A, person B chases after.
8. Medium shot of person B returning wallet.
9. Medium shot of person A accepting and thanking.
10.Master shot of both people parting.

1. I open with an establishing shot to give the audience an idea of the setting for the story.
2. The medium shot of person A is used primarily to draw attention to them, indicating that the story will directly involve them.
3. An insert shot of the wallet dropping to the floor is used to draw finer detail to this object, showing that this is of high importance to the story.
4. The eyeline match sequence is used to link person B with the item and with the story.
5. The panning medium shot of person B is used to show the action of person B picking up the wallet, which is part of the storyline.
6. Extreme close up on the wallet and the hand of person B is used to draw attention back to the wallet, showing the act of picking it up and to stop the story from seeming like one long held shot.
7. The over the shoulder shot of person A is used, as it brings both characters in the story together, and shows movement of both characters at once.
8. Medium shot of the return of the wallet as it is part of the storyline that must be shown to the audience.
9. Medium shot of person A thanking person B for the return of the wallet, used to tell more of the storyline.
10. Final master shot used to close the story as the two characters part ways.

Introduction to Unit G324: Advanced Porfolio - Assessment Objectives
The purpose of this unit is firstly to assess your ability to plan and construct media products using appropriate technical and creative skills (AO3); secondly to assess your ability to apply knowledge and understanding in evaluating your own work, showing how meanings and responses are created (AO2); and finally to assess your ability to undertake, apply and present appropriate research (AO4).
The unit requires you to engage with contemporary media technologies, giving you the opportunity to develop your own skills in these technologies. It also enables you to develop the skills of presentation that are required for further study at higher levels and in the workplace.
